275 Appendices A About the author Denise Visser was born on the 5th of May 1994 in Velserbroek, the Netherlands. She obtained her VWO diploma in 2012 and enrolled in the Bachelor Health and Life Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam directly after. During the three years that followed it became clear she had a strong interest in the brain. After obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in 2015 she enrolled in the Master Neurosciences at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. During her Master’s her interest into clinical neurosciences and neuroimaging grew. In 2017 she fulfilled her last internship in the lab of prof.dr. van Berckel and obtained her Master of Science degree in Neurosciences. She continued as a research assistant in the lab of prof.dr. van Berckel and after 6 months she started her PhD under supervision of prof.dr. van Berckel, prof.dr. van der Flier, dr. Ossenkoppele and dr. Verfaillie. Her work mainly focussed on longitudinal dynamic tau PET imaging along the Alzheimer’s continuum, including both methodological and clinical aspects. She will continue her work on PET imaging as a postdoctoral researcher at the department of Radiology & Nuclear Medicine at the Amsterdam UMC.
