148 Chapter 6 Relative cerebral blood flow (R1) Linear mixed models with baseline global cortical R1 as determinant and longitudinal cognitive test scores as outcome were used in CI and CU individuals separately. In CI individuals, lower R1 was associated with lower concurrent scores on MMSE, but not RAVLT or TMT B , but there were no associations between baseline R1 and rate of cognitive decline (Figure 2). Conversely in CU individuals, there were no associations between R1 and concurrent cognitive test scores, but there was an association between lower R1 and a steeper decline over time on RAVLT immediate recall (β= 0.85 SE 0.35, pFDR<0.05) (Figure 2).
