74 Chapter 5 Results Patient characteristics Fifty-two patients (58%) were 52 male, mean age was 65 ±11 years. In total, 17/90 patients (19%) had a poor response with predominant tumour at histopathology (pTRG 4-5) and 73/90 patients (81%) showed predominant fibrosis (pTRG 1-3). Final ypT-stage after surgery (or W&W) was ypT0 in n=27, ypT1-2 in n=22, ypT3 in n=37 and ypT4 in n=4 patients.
