224 Appendices APPENDIX 5 Survey-after-the-series for MCD-participants This is a specific part for MCD-participants at DCIA, which we added in the postmeasurement of a broader questionnaire (see Appendix 6) for our impact study on MCS (Chapter 4 and 5). Most items are used in the evaluation study of Chapter 3; however, items 6 and a part of the answers of 2B are used for the outcome study in Chapter 6. This is a translated version of the Dutch questionnaire we used at DCIA; the translation was made with the help of a professional translator. Explanation: What is moral case deliberation? A moral case deliberation is a conversation about concrete work-related situations in which questions arise about what is the right thing to do. Questions such as: Should I report it when a colleague doesn’t follow a protocol? Or: May I open a cell door when we are understaffed? In a moral case deliberation, you reflect with a group on these kinds of situations. Together you discuss what you and others think is the right thing to do. A moral case deliberation is conducted with a trained facilitator, and with a step-by-step plan that maps out values, norms and alternative solutions to a dilemma Experiences with moral case deliberation 1.
