165 Appendices | 8 Data management statement Ethics and privacy This research project was conducted in accordance with the Dutch Law, in particular concerning General Data Protection Regulation. The Ethical Review Board of the Netherlands Association of Medical Education has reviewed and approved the content analysis (Chapter 3), focus group study (Chapter 4) and development of the polarity map® (Chapter 5). Participants were included in the focus group study (Chapter 4) and during the development of the polarity map® (Chapter 5). Participation in these studies was voluntary and written consent was obtained from all participants. Data collection and storage Original data was collected during the content analysis (Chapter 3), focus group study (Chapter 4) and development of the polarity map® (Chapter 5). Storage of this data was guided by the Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (FAIR) principles.1 Most data is stored digitally at the H-station of the department of Primary and Community care of the RadboudUniversityMedical Centre. This data includes anonymised portfolio entries (Chapter 3), pseudonymised verbatim transcripts of the focus groups (Chapter 4) and a pseudonymised verbatim transcript of the stakeholder session (Chapter 5). The scoring forms of the content analysis (Chapter 3) and informed consent forms of participants (Chapter 4, 5) are stored on paper in the locked archive of the department of Primary and Community care. The abovementioned data will be stored for 15 years. Availability of data The datasets generated and analysed during the studies of this thesis are not publicly available. The datasets associated with the realist review (Chapter 2), content analysis (Chapter 3) and development of the polarity map® (Chapter 5) are available from the researchers on reasonable request. The verbatim transcripts of the focus groups (Chapter 4) are not available, as the participants of the focus groups did not provide consent to use the data for other purposes than our focus group study.
