As shown in Table 2, depressedmen had lower mean neuroticism scores than depressed women. Women who suffered from CRDS reported lower levels of vascular disease than depressed men. Depressed women were living alone more often than depressed men; they more frequently reported a lower education, current disability and a comorbid disease (all at a P value <.05).
