131 PROTEIN PROVISION AND EXERCISE THERAPY TO IMPROVE OUTCOMES IN ICU-SURVIVORS 7 7.5 CONCLUSION In conclusion, there is a structural lack in monitoring adequate protein delivery, failure to adhere to the international guidelines concerning protein delivery in ICU-patients, limited attention to CPE and PROMs. Based on our findings thus far, adequate interventions focusing on protein combined with exercise therapy after ICU-discharge with an emphasis on an individual approach are urgently needed. Physical functioning, nutritional status, and muscle health should be measured with tools that can be used during the full course of critical illness starting at baseline. For daily practice, collaboration of experienced ICU- professionals in the field is essential to combine these components in a ready-to-use toolkit.
