220 Appendix ABOUT THE AUTHOR Jarith Ebenau was born on the 5th of April 1991 in Groningen. She grew up in Borger and moved to Haren later, where she obtained her Gymnasium diploma at the Maartenscollege in 2008. From 2008 to 2014 she studied Medicine at the University of Groningen. During her studies, she developed an interest in Neurology which lead to her first jobs as resident at the Neurology department at the Isala in Zwolle (2015-2016) and at the MCL in Leeuwarden (2017-2018). In order to develop her scientific side, she started working as a PhD student at the Alzheimer Center Amsterdam in 2018, under supervision of prof.dr. W.M. van der Flier and prof.dr. B.N.M. van Berckel. She worked at the SCIENCe project and investigated the predictive value of biomarkers in individuals with subjective cognitive decline. She lives in Amsterdam with her partner Max. In her free time she plays the violin in orchestras and ensembles.
