CHAPTER 8 210 Qualitative analysis on feasibility of PRPP-Intervention Five interviews were conducted: Xandra’s mother; Yara, her mother and her caregiver; Zach and his mother; the OT of Xandra and Zach; and the OT of Yara. Directed content analysis of the feasibility studies gave insights into several areas of focus54: acceptability, demand, implementation, practicality, integration and adaptation. Acceptability All participants were very satisfied with the content of the intervention. It was experienced as easy, worthwhile and successful: (Xandra’s mother) “I didn’t expect to get such a result in such a short time. Even using care from a distance. Actually, just by making videos and discussing these in digital consultation.” Even Zach and his mother, who did not complete the intervention, stated that the content of the intervention was good and helpful for improving the performance of daily activities. Xandra’s mother was disappointed that the study was finished and would have liked to continue the treatment to reach more activity goals. Yara was extremely satisfied with the results. The use of videos enhanced the success of the intervention. Xandra’s mother stated that she watched the videos before sending them to the OT, resulting in helpful reflections on her own guidance to Xandra. In addition, the triple action approach increased the successfulness according to the parents and the OTs. The OTs mentioned that targeting their intervention at the parent (and/or caregiver) was part of the success. Demand The intervention demanded participation in relation to the child. The parent (and/ or caregiver) needed to be an active participant in order to achieve results.
