208 FUTURE RESEARCH absorbable sutures. Patients will be admitted for one night post-operatively and all patients receive antibiotics (amoxicillin/clavulanic acid) for 7 days and analgesics (paracetamol and diclofenac) for 5 days post-operatively. The sialography images will be saved in the medical record. When a major submandibular duct stenosis or stricture seems present per-operatively (which interferes with adequate infusion), we will not infuse EtOH / Iomeron 300 and only apply clips to the submandibular duct. In this case, the patient will be excluded. These patients will be replaced to come to an inclusion of 5 patients. The likelihood of strictures and stenosis in younger patients without a medical history of salivary duct stenosis or strictures is, however, negligible. In case of minor submandibular duct stenosis or strictures we will conform to the protocol: we will infuse an estimated 1 – 1,5 ml EtOH – Iomeron 300 with DSS. Study protocol: (1) Baseline assessment - Patient characteristics, VAS, DQ, DS, DF, quality of life questionnaires. - 1 mL saliva sample (2) Procedure - 2 weeks complaint diary (3) Telephone survey after two weeks for postoperative adverse events. (4) Follow-up at 8 weeks - VAS, DQ, DS, DF, quality of life questionnaires, adverse events. - 1 mL saliva sample (5) Follow-up at 32 weeks - VAS, DQ, DS, DF, quality of life questionnaires, adverse events. - 1 mL saliva sample
